It was a sensational day at the plate for Edgar Balerio as he led the charge to a 15-5 win over the Browns. The Thunder Bay center fielder was pure misery for the Cleveland pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 6 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting.

"Balerio put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Greg Diersing, manager for the Browns, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball."

Edgar Balerio flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Ryunosuke Kurota in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.

Currently Balerio is batting .315 with 4 home runs and 30 RBIs.
