Houston starter Chris Holland pitched effectively against the Chicago Silver Sox at Silver Sox Park. The right-hander led his team to a 5-2 win. Holland went 7 innings to notch the win. Houston used the clutch hitting of José Corona to capture the win. The designated hitter drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the 1837 BBC ahead, 4-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
