Hollywood Wins Game in Extras; On Verge of R2038
The Hollywood Shredders went into extra innings against the Ft. Worth Cattlemen but ultimately moved to within one game of the Round 2038 today.

The Shredders downed the Cattlemen at The Cattle Pen by a score of 6-4. Even as his squad took the loss, Ft. Worth right-hander Robbie Betchley was named player of the game for a solid outing in which he threw 6 innings of 3-hit ball. The win gives the Shredders a - advantage in the best-of- Round 2037.

Hollywood used the timely hitting of Takashi Noda to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Shredders on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Hollywood manager Bill Cheese.
