Raucous Belugas Ballpark Crowd Propels Belugas to 2-0 Victory; Series Tied at 2
The Brinkley Belugas and the Bakersfield Nobles will take the PL AAA Championship to a decisive 5th game. Facing a must-win situation today, the Belugas shut out the Nobles 2-0 at Belugas Ballpark to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Brinkley right-hander De John Cleland was named player of the game in the win after a strong outing in which he threw 6 innings of shutout ball.

Cleland allowed no runs over 6 innings. He also racked up 7 strikeouts.

"I felt we were ready to go," said Brinkley manager Ricardo Medina. "Our pregame was pretty good."

The next game is set to be played Saturday at Jerome Grounds in Bakersfield.
