Already down in the PL R Championchip, the Ladue Rams put on their best show, beating the Long Island Ducks by a final score of 5-0 today. Tillmam Cru earned player of the game honors, as he was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Ladue now trails Long Island 2-1 in the best-of-5 affair.

The Rams took a 5-0 lead in the bottom of the fifth inning. Facing Long Island hurler Govaart van Ankeren with one out, Cru hit a 3-run home run.

"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Cru.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ballpark of Wellsville in Ladue. Slated to start are Phil Soto for the Long Island Ducks and Juan Colón for the the Ladue Rams.
