González, Drummers Sink Redlegs Again in Game 2
The Tortolita Drummers moved to within one game of the Round 2 today, downing the visiting Sacramento Redlegs at Drummers Ballpark by a score of 5-2. Drummers designated hitter Cristo González was named player of the game after he went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The win gives the Drummers a 2-0 advantage in the best-of-5 3L AAA Championship.

The Drummers took a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the fourth inning. Facing Sacramento hurler Bob Shepard with one out, González hit a 2-run home run.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," González said after the game.

Game 3 is set to be played Wednesday, September 24th, 2036 at Sacramento Sanitation Station in Sacramento. The scheduled starters for the game are Roy Alsobrook for Tortolita and Edison Larson for Sacramento.
