River Rats Hammered by Orlovsky, Drop Game 3 to Jets
The Kennesaw Jets went into extra innings against the Columbia River Rats but ultimately moved to within one game of the Round 2 today. The Jets downed the River Rats at Columbia Stadium by a score of 6-4. Kennesaw center fielder Sasha Orlovsky was named player of the game after he went 3 for 4 with a home run, a triple, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The win gives the Jets a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-5 3L A Championship.

The game was all tied up in the top of the tenth, until Orlovsky delivered big-time for Kennesaw, stroking a dramatic run-scoring triple off Michael White. The game-changing hit put the Jets on top, 5-4.

In postgame remarks, Orlovsky simply said: "Here's to a great win!"

The next game is set to be played tomorrow. The scheduled starters for the game are Dragutin Petrovic for the Kennesaw Jets and Patrick Nicolas for the the Columbia River Rats.
