The importance of Game was not lost on Rikkarti Gudmundur.

In leading the Kingston Township Knights to a crucial 4-3 victory over the San Mateo Dirty Reds at Cloverdale Legion Park today, the right-hander rose to the occasion, tossing 6 good innings and earning player of the game honors. Gudmundur threw 6 innings of 3-hit ball as the Knights defended their home field to seize a - lead in the best-of- Third League Championship.

Alejandro Serrato chipped in for Kingston Township with a solo home run in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the third baseman had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 1 RBI.
