Almost There: Buckhead On Cusp of R1 Triumph After 7-2 Win
The Buckhead Bowties are one game away from a sweep after a 7-2 win over the visiting Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC at 5 Paces Park today. Bowties left-hander Dale Hamilton was named player of the game after a strong outing in which he threw 6 innings allowing 1 run. Buckhead now holds a - advantage in the best-of- Round 1.

The Bowties picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

"They say the first rule of the playoffs is to win the home games," Hamilton said afterward. "It feels nice, but it is kind of what we were supposed to do."
