The Thunder Bay starter rose to the occasion at Cloverdale Legion Park today, earning player of the game honors after leading the Northern Lions BC to a crucial 5-0 victory over the Kingston Township Knights. Vidro threw 8 innings of shutout ball as the Northern Lions BC won on the road to seize a - lead in the best-of- Silver League Championship.

Vidro worked his mojo for Thunder Bay. The hard-throwing right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 8.1 innings of work.

"Got a lot of swings and misses today," said Vidro.
