The Deer had to overcome a fine performance from Bompton pitcher Jaime Chávez to grab a 6-4 win at Sheridan Forest. Chávez allowed no earned runs over 5 innings. Sheridan reliever Juan Núńez got the win, raising his record to 6-2. Alastair England was tagged with the loss. The 6th-place Deer have won 7 consecutive games.
