Riding the 2-hit performance of the 20-year old catcher Júlio Abarco, the Tulsa Otters stopped the Franklin Fire, 5-0. Tulsa reliever Garrett Austin picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Biff Pocoroba was saddled with the loss. Kevin Moyer was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 1 of 2 save opportunities.

Early in the game, first baseman Albert Porter had a solo home run for Tulsa. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Otters on top, 1-0.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Abarco said after the game.
