Tigers Beat Fire in 10
|
Twinsburg beat Franklin on the strength of starter Ken Richmond's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 4-3 win. Shane O'Toole earned the save, his 8th. The Fire have now dropped 10 straight.
Twinsburg used the timely hitting of Pat Carter to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Tigers on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Richmond.
