Starting pitcher Tim Wallace pitched well enough to help the Franklin Fire beat the Montgomery Biscuits by the score of 8-4. Freddy Estrada, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 7th save. Franklin is now 26-46. Montgomery is 20-52.

Tucker Sanford dealt the Biscuits a blow in the bottom of the fourth. Batting with the bases loaded and Franklin leading 3-2, Sanford hit a 2-0 cutter for a run-scoring single.
