The rain could not dampen the enthusiasm of Surprise fans at ïAbbots Ballpark.

A 3-RBI performance from designated hitter Yin-fat Fou, who is tied for 10th in the PR in home runs with 5, led the Surprise Shockers to a 8-3 win over the Crowley Cajuns. Surprise reliever Huo-tu Cong picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-1. Charles Cleveland was collared with the loss.

One of the key players for the Shockers was catcher Jesús Espinoza, who drilled a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth inning. For the game, Espinoza was 1 for 3 with a walk.

In comments to the Surprise Chronicle, Espinoza insisted that he's not as disinterested as it often appears. "Haters will hate," he added.

Surprise, now 31-40, holds 6th place in the Premier R.
