Rams Raise Rally Flag, Beat Ellesmere Island, 5-4
The Ladue Rams walked off with a big win today at Ballpark of Wellsville.

Ellesmere Island pitcher Fernando Gonzáles gave the Rams all they could handle, but in the end, Ladue left Ballpark of Wellsville with a 5-4 win. Gonzáles allowed no earned runs on 5 hits over 6 innings. The Rams sit in second place in the Premier R with a record of 48-23.

Miguel Contreras was the walk-off hero for Ladue. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Rams left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring triple to send the teams home.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Ladue manager Henry Henderson. "It's usually not just one thing."
