Gibtown starter Poto Boldrini pitched effectively against the Hicksville Hounds at Wrigley Field. The left-hander led his team to a 10-3 win. The Elephants, now 40-24, have won 4 in a row.

Phillam Torralba had a big run-scoring single for the Elephants in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Gibtown leading 4-3 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Jesús Gutiérrez and stroked the single to left. It was his 31st hit of the season, and more importantly, it put the Elephants ahead, 5-3.

"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Boldrini.
