Deer Win Another One
|
Sheridan designated hitter Charles Geudre had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Redwood Rhinos, 8-3. Redwood's current losing streak has reached 7 games.
With runs few and far between, the Deer had to seize their opportunities when they came. One of the most important chances for Sheridan came in the bottom of the fifth inning, when second baseman Bernardo Marino delivered a 2-run double. The double was hit off Esteban Vásquez and made the score 5-2, Deer. Marino went 2 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
