Hounds Trip Hotspur Academy in Extras
|
Ron Lee had a good game, but he could not keep the Phoenix Hotspur Academy from falling, 4-2, to the Hicksville Hounds at Ballpark of Fresno. The Phoenix first baseman was 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once in the loss. Hicksville now sits in second place in the Menard's R at 25-15.
Hicksville took a 4-2 lead on Juan Núñez's 6th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Phoenix pitcher António Sánchez in the top of the 13th.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Hicksville manager Wilber Moon. "It's usually not just one thing."
