|
Despite a great performance by Redwood pitcher Ricky Sellers, the Bompton Baby Lakers defeated the Rhinos by the score of 2-1 at The Zoo. Sellers threw 8 innings allowing 2 runs. The Baby Lakers, now 18-16, have won 6 in a row.
Bompton center fielder Ben Bullock contributed to the cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth. For the game, Bullock went 1-4.
Bullock called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
