The Gibtown Elephants faced a tough opponent in Sheridan pitcher Luis Castro, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Sheridan Forest by a final score of 6-3. Castro went 5.2 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Vadim Rajnev earned the win to go to 3-1. He allowed 3 earned runs on 6 hits, with 1 walk and 7 strikeouts. Pepe Rodríguez recorded his 6th save for Gibtown.
