Elephants Score Late to Upend Baby Blues, 6-5
The Gibtown Elephants eked out a 6-5 win versus the Quebec City Baby Blues at Wrigley Field. Nobody did more than pitcher Vadim Rajnev, who captured player of the game honors. Gibtown reliever Kevin MacIvor was the winner. His record is now 4-0. Fred Bridges took the loss. Gibtown is now 16-11, Quebec City 10-17.

Ji-e Loh was the walk-off hero for Gibtown. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Elephants center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Rajnev.
