Baby Blues Turn Back Bompton, 4-2

Quebec City starter Ed Alexander had a strong outing against the Bompton Baby Lakers at Dylan Park. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-2 win. Alexander, now 1-0, was the winner. In 5.1 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 6, walking 2, and allowing no earned runs. Quebec City is off to a sluggish start, getting just their 5th win in 18 games.
With one out in the bottom of the third, Asberry Harpending had a game-changing hit. The Baby Blues catcher slammed a run-scoring single off Jaime Chávez, making the score 1-0, Quebec City.
