Rhinos Topple Baby Blues with Late Rally
The Redwood Rhinos stymied the Quebec City Baby Blues, 3-2, at Dylan Park. Ricky Sellers, who had a good day at the plate, was named player of the game. He threw 8 innings allowing 2 runs for Redwood. Sellers got the win, improving to 2-0. He allowed 8 hits and walked 1 over 8 innings. Sellers allowed 2 earned runs. Picking up the save was Roberto Sáenz, his 5th.

Redwood took a 3-2 lead on Juan Rodríguez's 1st double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Rodríguez hit in the top of the ninth, left Quebec City pitcher Javier Iturburua shaking his head.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Quebec City manager Tony Romero. "But we decided not to take it."

The Baby Blues fall to 4-9 and continue their uneasy start to the 2036 season.
