In a well-pitched game between the Gibtown Elephants and the Canonniers de Quebec, pitcher Jonathan Lentz was fantastic. The Gibtown right-hander was named the player of the game in Gibtown's 3-1 win. Gibtown, at 3-0, has sizzled in the early going.

The Elephants got a big at-bat from first baseman José Ocasio. For the game, Ocasio was 1 for 3 with a walk. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run single. His 4th hit of the season gave Gibtown a 2-0 lead.
