Biscuits Lose Again, 6-3, to Lead Sox
|
Indiana Lead Sox starter Arlen Chesnutt was in fine form against the Montgomery Biscuits at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium, leading his team to a 6-3 win. Chesnutt picked up the win for Indiana, going 5 innings. He gave up 1 run on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 2-6. Montgomery is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 6 in a row.
Indiana took a 6-3 lead on Aaron Bickford's 53rd hit of the season. The 2-run single, which Bickford hit in the top of the ninth, left Montgomery pitcher Paolo Speranza visibly frustrated.
"It was our day today," Bickford told the Indiana Gazette. "But we've got to keep our nose to the grindstone."
