Losing Streak Continues for Biscuits with 4-2 Loss to Fire
|
The Franklin Fire picked up a win at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium, knocking off the Montgomery Biscuits, 4-2. Starting pitcher Chun-yeong Byung-Ho, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The slumping Biscuits have lost 12 straight.
Franklin took a 4-2 lead on Alejandro González's 24th hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which González hit in the top of the seventh, left Montgomery pitcher Samuel Tuffley visibly frustrated.
"I felt we were ready to go," said Franklin manager Mark Davis. "Our pregame was pretty good."
