Flanderses Turn Back Montgomery, 3-1

Sebastiaan Roelands pitched well, but the Montgomery Biscuits still lost the game, falling 3-1 to the Hudsonville Flanderses at Field of the Toros. Hudsonville reliever Ken Bates picked up the win, bumping his record to 4-1. Sebastiaan Roelands was collared with the loss. Arto Kimmonen picked up the save for Hudsonville, his 1st of the year.
Lung Chaim was vital part of the Hudsonville win. He was 2 for 4 with 2 singles. In the bottom of the fifth with two out, Chaim hit a run-scoring single. It made the score 3-1, in favor of the Flanderses.
Chaim told a Hudsonville Citizen reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
Hudsonville has now won 3 in a row.
