The Northwest Territory Beavers picked up a win at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium, knocking off the Montgomery Biscuits, 2-1. On the mound for Northwest Territory was left-hander Justin Clapham, who played a pivotal role in the win. The Biscuits, now 5-14, continue their slow start.

Northwest Territory used the clutch hitting of Kent Potter to capture the win. The catcher drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to give the Beavers the lead, 2-1. For the game, Potter had 1 single and 1 double in 3 at-bats.

"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Northwest Territory manager Tom Carlson.
