Red-Hot Gotaas Scorches Fire
It seemed that Tulsa right fielder Conor Gotaas could do no wrong as the Otters KO'd the Fire, 9-4 today. Gotaas rapped out 5 hits in 5 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Fire hurlers were throwing.

"I think the Otters were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Franklin fan after the game.

"I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Gotaas in the postgame press interview.

Conor Gotaas doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Chun-yeong Byung-Ho in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit an RBI triple in the 8th.

This season Gotaas has 3 home runs and a .278 batting average.
