Submarinos Score Late to Upend Otters, 3-2
|
Amarillo Submarinos starter Héctor Barrera pitched a strong game against the Tulsa Otters at Terriers Ballpark, leading the Submarinos to a 3-2 win. Amarillo reliever Danny Stam picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. William Burkett took the loss. The Submarinos are off to a tough start, getting just their 5th win in 13 games.
Sadiya Seth, who leads the SR in triples with 1, chipped in for Amarillo with a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth. For the game, the center fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 RBI.
