Otters Turn Back Ballard, 2-0
|
Tulsa right-hander Edwin Meadows pitched his team to a shutout win, 2-0, over the Ballard Beavers. With their winning streak at 4, the Otters have raced to a strong start this season.
John Juanda, not known for his power, had a big at-bat with one out in the bottom of the sixth. That's when he connected on a fastball from António León for a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season put Tulsa in front, 2-0.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Meadows said.
