Fort Knox rode a fine outing from starter Roble Gichinga to victory over the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople at The Igloo. The final score was 5-2. Gichinga went 5.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 2 hits, walked 1, and struck out 6. His record improves to 4-3. Fort Knox is now 31-36, Ellesmere Island 28-39.
The fans who came in support of the Centennial were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at The Igloo.
