Outlaws Clip Stingers, 3-2
|
Nashville Stadium was the site of a tense game between the Toledo Stingers and Nashville Outlaws.
Nashville starter Won-sup Yang had a strong outing against the Toledo Stingers at Nashville Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 3-2 win. Picking up the save was Yu-eh Mi, his 5th.
Had Javier Sierra not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases empty, Sierra hit a solo home run. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Outlaws.
Yang called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
Nashville is now 10-18, Toledo 11-17.
