Big Day by Colombo Ignites Snowpeople Win
It was a fun time at The Igloo, where the Fort Knox Centennial and Ellesmere Island Snowpeople tangled.

Ellesmere Island center fielder Luigino Colombo had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Fort Knox Centennial, 6-4. Kosami Matsumoto recorded the save for Ellesmere Island, his 1st of the season.

Colombo had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 0-1 fastball from Bing-zhong Qiu, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Snowpeople a 5-3 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Colombo.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Colombo.

Ellesmere Island, now 22-31, holds 7th place in the Premier R.
