Benítez Helps Ducks Run Win Streak to 9

The Long Island Ducks downed the Capital Hill Interns, 8-1, at Ducks Park. The Ducks were led by Luis Benítez, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Moises Casabuena earned his 1st save in 1 tries. The first-place Ducks have won 9 in a row.
Benítez made an early impact for Long Island when he stroked his 30th hit of the season. The 2-run single, which came in the bottom of the second, put the Ducks on top, 4-1.
