Walker Sensational for Centennial
|
It was a fun time at Ballpark of Baxter, where the Crowley Cajuns and Fort Knox Centennial tangled.
Noah Walker never let the Cajuns get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his slider, to pitch the Centennial to a 4-0 win. The 5th-place Centennial lifted their record to 20-18.
Crowley could barely put a dent in Walker. The left-hander tossed 90 pitches over 7.2 innings for the Centennial, allowing only 2 hits.
"Noah's tempo and rhythm were good," said Centennial manager António Molina. "He was the key to us winning."
