Interns Come Back Late to Clip Cougars
The Interns faced a stiff challenge from Valley View pitcher Gaberiela Tatafu, but persevered to claim a win at Hillandale Grounds. The final score was 8-2. Tatafu went 7 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. César Hernández got credit for the win, improving to 4-1. He allowed 2 runs on 6 hits in 7 innings. With the win, the Interns have a record of 14-18.

Capital Hill used the timely hitting of Jorge Ramírez to capture the win. The right fielder socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Interns ahead, 6-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was an important one.

"We came out aggressive," said Interns manager Ezequiel Chosson. "We came out swinging the bats."
