Brown Sensational for Ducks
|
Long Island right-hander Tynan Brown was sensational in shutting out the Surprise Shockers, 1-0. Govaart van Ankeren finished to wrap up his 6th save. Long Island leads the Premier R by 2½ games.
Brown was in the zone all game. He frustrated Surprise hitters while giving the Ducks 8 innings of quality work. Brown threw 103 pitches, allowing 3 hits and getting 10 punchouts.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Brown.
