Rams Reel Off Another Win
Conditions were not ideal but Ladue and Long Island were able to put their game in the books.

Ladue Rams starter Ryson Polonius turned in a top-notch performance against the Long Island Ducks at Ballpark of Wellsville. The result was a win for the Rams, 3-1. Losses have been few and far between for the Ducks so far this season. Their record drops to 10-3.

Junji Ito, who is tied for 10th in the PR in stolen bases with 2, aided the Ladue cause with a run-scoring triple in the bottom of the third. For the game, the second baseman went 1 for 2 with a triple and 2 walks.

"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Ladue manager Henry Henderson said.
