In a low-scoring tilt between the Provo Mango and the Washington Generals, Tao Seto was the difference-maker. The Provo right-hander earned player of the game honors in the 2-1 win. Mark Jacobson was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 25 of 26 save opportunities. Provo is now 52-37, Washington 37-52.
Had Juan Ibarra not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Ibarra hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Mango.
