Despite a great performance by Mancelona second baseman Teok-kyu Pak, the Walla Walla Walleye defeated the Torch by the score of 7-6 at Torch Field. Pak was 2 for 2 with a triple and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times. Fred Ramey picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-3. George Kipcak was tagged with the loss. Walla Walla, at 52-37, occupies third place in the Premier A.

David Stone hit a 2-run triple off George Kipcak in the top of the eighth, which put the Walleye in front, 6-4. Stone had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.
