Torch Stick Mango with 4-1 Loss

The Mancelona Torch got a stellar performance from pitcher Marty McFly, who handcuffed the Provo offense en route to a 4-1 win at Mango Yard. The Torch move to 36-50 with the win, while the Mango drop to 50-36.
In the top of the first, Jacques Viceronte pounced on a fastball from Alan Halsall and hit a 2-run single. It gave Mancelona a quick 2-0 lead.
"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Torch manager Jeremy Dennis. "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."
