Pitcher Roger Edwards was sensational for the Caldwell Chiefs in his team's 5-1 triumph over the South Beach Blaze. Edwards received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. Caldwell is now 49-32.
Edwards, the winner, is now 12-4. In 7.2 innings of work, he gave up 1 earned run on 2 hits, while collecting 9 Ks. He essentially shut down the South Beach offense.
