1787 BC Raise Rally Flag, Beat South Beach, 3-0
|
The Delaware 1787 BC got a strong performance from pitcher Peter Routledge, who stymied the South Beach offense en route to a 3-0 win at Carrier Field. The 6th-place 1787 BC improved to 23-23.
A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 2nd and no one out in the bottom of the eighth inning. That's when catcher Raoul de Gilde hit a single. The 1787 BC went on to win.
"I'm proud of the way our guys played today to come out with this win," de Gilde told the Delaware Times.
