Tristan Eikelenboom knocked in 3 runs to help Mancelona beat Walla Walla, 6-3. Eikelenboom produced 1 single, 1 double, and 1 home run. Getting the save was Lucas Gameiro, his 10th. The Torch, at 18-24, sit in 9th place in the Premier A.
Riemer Kila was 1 for 3 for Mancelona. The 22-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Amadi Azagba. It was his 4th RBI of the season.
"We'll just keep our nose to the grindstone," Kila told the Mancelona Observer.
