1787 BC Bang Out 6-1 Win Versus Washington
The Delaware 1787 BC picked up a win at Carrier Field, knocking off the Washington Generals, 6-1. Starting pitcher Sarda Chitturu, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. With the win, Delaware goes to 13-15, while the Generals fall to 9-19.

A crucial at-bat came with runners on 2nd and 3rd and two out in the bottom of the third inning. That's when third baseman Zacarías Salazar, who is tied for 8th in the PA in doubles with 7, drew a walk. The 1787 BC went on to win.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Salazar said after the game.
