The Chicago Tula trumped the Niagara Falls Expos, 6-5, at Ramblers Ballpark. Chicago third baseman Jaypee Layug was named player of the game for his performance. He was 2-3 with a double and a walk. Chicago goes to 22-47, Niagara Falls to 19-50.

With runners on 2nd and 3rd in the bottom of the ninth, Layug delivered the knockout blow when he hit a run-scoring single to win it for Chicago. In the contest, Layug was 2 for 3 with a double and a walk.

"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Niagara Falls manager Terry Stokes. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
