Seahawks Win at Syracuse, 4-0
|
Myrtle Beach starter Duckens Nazon put a stranglehold on the Syracuse offense. The right-hander had complete command of his curveball in leading the Seahawks to a 4-0 win. The Seahawks now have a mark of 32-27.
Myrtle Beach used the timely hitting of Carlos Castro to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put the Seahawks on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"I really like what we did out there today," Castro said after the game.
