Outlaws Get Road Win, 5-2
|
Nashville and Cleveland duked it out at Factory of Sadness and the Outlaws came out victorious.
The Nashville Outlaws knocked off the Cleveland Browns, 5-2, at Factory of Sadness. Salvador Ramírez, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Nashville won. The right fielder went 2-3 with a double and a walk. Yu-eh Mi nailed down his 1st save.
Nashville used the clutch hitting of Scott Kerin to capture the win. The left fielder drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Outlaws ahead, 2-0. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Nashville skipper Ryan Naylor.
The Outlaws, with just their 2nd win in 9 games, have played uninspired baseball so far.
